Born in Gold Beach in 1954 to Oregonian parents Court Boice has owned and actively managed Paradise Lodge.

Court has raised three sons: Ty (24) talented actor and student.   Brandon (33) an Oregon State Police SWAT team member and former Oregon State University Beaver Linebacker.  Justin (36) is a famous boat racer and Jet-boat designer.  He and Court's daughter-in-law Kim have 3 children.  One son, Court who is (9) pictured below and 2 daughters, Karter (7) and Brook (5)

A ‘Type A’ person with boundless energy and many reasonable and common sense ideas, Court would say “that he is a servant and a leader… with non-compromising honesty and loyalty”. A business owner and operator since 1973 Court possesses natural leadership abilities that allow him to accomplish much through other people. Court has owned, co-owned, or operated:

• Court’s White Water Trips / Jerry’s Rogue Jets, 1973-1997
• Clay Hill and Wild Rivers Lodges, 1974-1979
• Paradise Lodge, 1973-2005.

Court is an outstanding River Outfitter and Host. Always sensitive to the needs of his customers, Court delivers over the long haul (and in sometimes very adverse conditions) in a manner that causes his clients, his staff, and the Rogue River community to love and respect him. In all cases Court manages the lodge that he owns or is associated with to continually improve in terms of quality and service. His eye is always on both customer satisfaction and profitability.

Court Boice is very well known on the Rogue River and in the jet-boat industry. In the past 33 years Court has transported almost 200,000 guests by Jet-Boat. An innovator, Court and associates developed the first three engine white water passenger jet-boat ever used anywhere. Court has more “seat time” under more varying conditions in river-jets than anyone else in the world. A dare-devil, Court has river raced countless times and is the first person to have piloted an inboard jet boat from Gold Beach to Grant’s Pass (120 miles). Court has rescued many from the Rogue River at times at the risk of his own life. Court is a past member and chairman of the Oregon State Marine Board.
